Gay rights in india
Sunday, July 5th, 2009Gay rights-Whats the fuss, whats the deal?just give it to them and let them breath a sigh!
The first question we must ask ourselves before the constitution makes an amendment in their journals is,what is a basic human need?to be understood and accepted fro what we are.How does it matter how one wants to and what choices an individual makes to live their lives as long as they are notcausing any direct or indirect harm to anybody. Why are gay rights such a big deal in this society. They for the minority. We as a nation have bigger issuesto deal with than make a brouhaha about gay rights.Homosexuals want to live peacefully give them their rights and be done with it instead of making this a behemoth issue.I think we’d rather follow the religion called ‘humanity’ than stick to esoteric norms and rituals. That makes our God very happy.Because thats why he created us.To understand each other irrespective of any differences. Its strange people have forgotten the 26/11 so soon.I dont deny measures for that have been taken too. There are lot of issues in various systems that can be improvized. For instance education system inculcating an approcah that broaden in terms learning rather than being pedantic and orthodox. We’d rather taboo orthodoxy and give a way to a more open path that leads us towards understanding our own species better regardless of diversities, choices and interests. We’d rather not be labeled based on any of these factors and lead a life of a matured citizen who fully understands the significance and essence of growth. We’d rather show the world what a true evolution means in every sense of the word and its meaning. How does an individual’s choice of companionship become a national issue? We as human beings have learnt over years to complicate simple issues and present it with glorious melange of misconceptions mixed with fear. Its basically our fear that we need to work on.What do we fear when we do no harm to others and lead our lives.its ironical how this very fear of not being accepted has repressed us as a society and has bound us to abundance ignorance which we are only making an attempt after centuries to open up and turf-out the tresses of ritualistic and unreasonable societal paranoia. The very need for acceptance has been the moot point where the shoe pinches. It is the cause of fear and a solution in itself that can dissolve issues risen out of being a repressed society. We’d rather learn to accept the ‘responsibility’ of understanding what a responsibility is all about in matters of our life such as work, relations, amibtions and quality of life that we choose to have. We’d rather understand spirituality and not be an unreasonable conforming religious unhappy individual.Religion teaches us a way of life and is no book of law that we ought to abide by coz God is a sweetheart who would not be so harsh on us.Spirituality teaches us the true essence of being what we are as a soul unit untied to illusions of this world.on the lighter note when everything is an illusion, why make such a fuss. Also i think, gay rights might just help us from being an tone down our overly populated country, more like a solution for being soo populated [:d].Lets be a society of matured nurturing individuals who understand the significance of the life as a whole and ponder good on the hu-ha of ‘individuality’ thats such a prevelant topic to rabbit on.We talk of being ourselves,we talk of being who we are, then why hide?to fight the tide?wave the trivia and go take a ride,Let Him be on your side. You wont haveanything else to hide.Be proud of whatever you do as long as you dont step into someone else’s shoes how does it matter?Do you really have the guts to be yourself?if so why such a big fuss?
